General Strategy[]

This floor is perhaps the most difficult one out of the original three that have been released, due to Ban’s insane reflect. The best way to clear this floor is to pair Red Melascula with a very strong AOE Ultimate character (such as Blue Fairy King Harlequin) and rely on Melascula (as a sub unit) to keep the DPS character alive. Sacrificing Blue Princess Elizabeth or Blue Fraudrin to fill the Ultimate Move gauge of the AOE DPS character(s) can also help ensure the level can be beaten. Using a secondary character with a strong AOE Ultimate Move can help beat the stage quicker. There is a chance one enemy will remain alive due to them having a Revive ability, but your initial DPS character should be able to take them out before Melascula’s Revive effect runs out. If your AOE units are strong enough, odds are Ban will have died by that point.

Some great DPS units to use in the main slots are:

  • Dark Traitor Meliodas
    • High DPS and strong AOE Ultimate Move
  • Blue “The One” Escanor
    • Good for finishing whatever enemy remains
  • Blue Fairy King Harlequin
    • Strong AOE Ultimate Move which protects Melascula
  • Blue Milim
    • Strong AOE Ultimate Move and great single target DPS
  • Red Lostvayne Meliodas
    • Only recommended with a high Ultimate Level (Ideally 5/6 or 6/6)
  • Green Demon Lord Rimuru Tempest
    • Note: If using this character, remember that his Abyss Ultimate effect will not work if he is revived by Melascula at the same time. Make sure he has already been revived first so the Abyss effect remains.
  • Blue New Wings King
    • Again, if using a character with the Abyss effect, make sure they have already been revived.

Viable support units are:

  • Red Melascula (Required)
    • Required for her Revival
  • Blue Fraudrin (Ideal)
    • Ult Rush Sacrifice
  • Blue Princess Elizabeth (Alternative)
    • Ult Rush Sacrifice

Recommended sub-slot units are:

  • Red Melascula (Required)
    • Must be in the sub-slot or else your Ult Rush sacrifice will be revived

Alternate Strategy[]

For those looking to beat this without Red Melascula, there is a way. This strategy requires multiple powerful AOE Ultimates, as well a very good tank. Personal choices for the AOE were Traitor Meliodis, T1 Escanor, and Transcendent Ban. For the tank I went with Halloween Matrona, as a long taunt is very important to this, and she will already be built up due to her use in Demonic Beast Battles. Her unique paired with Blue Tarmiel is quite potent, and full Defense Gear is recommended. Regardless of your team build up, the strategy is as follows:

  • Activate your taunt
  • Shuffle your cards to gain orbs
  • If you are using T1 Escanor, try to save as many "Crazy Prominence" attacks as you have Final Flames
  • If you are using T1 Escanor, unleash the Ultimate and immediately follow with Crazy Prominence. Otherwise Ban's AOE attacks will strip away your Final Flames.
  • If you can, keep up taunt while you prep your other AOE Ults in the same manner as before.
  • Repeat this process until you either win or lose. It took me 2 tries to win with this strategy.

This strategy is not graceful and requires near max upgraded characters and gear, but I would argue it is the best option for anyone who does not have Red Melascula. As of writing this, she is currently in the Limited Time Sale Coin Shop, but I can't image most free to play players, myself included, have 7 platinum coins to spend on one character. Good luck in the Tower.
