I’m a Las Vegas local with insights into the best Las Vegas restaurants for every budget and craving.

Dining out is one of the top things to do in Las Vegas. However, it can be tricky to know where to eat in Vegas given the hundreds of options. After years of being a Sin City foodie, I’ve rounded up the 31 absolute best eateries in this guide.

El Dorado Cantina is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun with music playing and beautiful decor all around.

There are three different Las Vegas locations and they are all open 24 hours daily, so if you want to grab a late-night bite, this is a great place to do so.On Thursday nights at the Tivoli Village location, they have Latin Night with live music, dancing, and special co*cktails.

The carne asada street tacos and the grilled steak fajita platter are my go-to orders. I also always order the tableside guacamole because they adapt it to your taste, and it is always fun to watch your food being made. They also offer a great margarita selection — my favorite being the Cadillac Margarita.

Honey Salt

Honey Salt is a farm-to-table restaurant with authentic meals and a comfortable, rustic atmosphere. The outdoor patio is my favorite place to sit, complete with gorgeous string lights and cute tables.

Monkey bread is one of the most popular appetizers, and they are famous for their crispy buttermilk fried chicken entrée. Their chicken sliders paired with freshly made potato chips are one of the best food combinations I have ever tried.

Be sure to save room — the dessert menu includes peach shortcake, brookie with ice cream, and baked cheesecake. With a variety of discounted appetizers and drinks, Honey Salt is also one of the best places to eat in Las Vegas during happy hour.

Julian Serrano Tapas

Julian Serrano is a Spanish-style tapas restaurant inside the ARIA Resort & Casino. It features gold decor, decorative trees, and lanterns which make you feel as if you are sitting in a different city.

Their sangria takes three days to make, and it has a distinctively delicious taste. The lamb chops, paella, and chicken croquetas are just a few of the menu highlights.

Some menu favorites include the truffle sashimi, lobster mac n’ cheese, and the CATCH roll — which is torched at your table. The Hit Me Cake is the perfect way to end your meal, offering an interactive experience for everyone to enjoy. Watch as the pour-over chocolate sauce cracks the Klondike bar shell, then devour.

For those who love brunch, Hash House A Go Go is one of the best places to eat in Vegas. You may want to split your order with someone else because the portions are big enough for several people. Not only is the food incredible, but the service has been wonderful every time I’ve visited.

The menu is inspired by Midwestern comfort food. Andy’s “world famous” sage fried chicken and waffles is one of the most popular orders. Their flapjacks come in many unique flavors like cinnamon roll and Snickers.

Like most plates, they’re big enough to feed at least three people! With multiple locations around Las Vegas, you can’t miss this delicious brunch spot.

Top of The World

Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen

Some of Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes include beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding, one of my favorite desserts in Las Vegas. Both plates are available on their 3-course, prix fixe menu. This classic Vegas restaurant tends to be very popular, so make reservations as far in advance as possible.

Esther’s Kitchen

Inside Park MGM, you will find an extraordinary Italian food court. Eataly has places ranging from sit-down restaurants to fast-service counters, and even grocery shopping. The Italian-inspired bars and decor will make you feel as if you have stepped into the streets of Italy.

It is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or snag a table at one of their restaurants, like Toscana. The bars offer famous Italian drinks like Aperol Spritz and Limoncello, all of which are delicious. You may also want to try their massive selection of cheese, and perhaps gelato for dessert.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon has won several awards including a Michelin star, which makes expectations extremely high. There are many preset menus to make the experience more enjoyable. However, if you choose to order à la carte, don’t miss the truffled langoustine ravioli in foie gras sauce — it’s incredible!

The tasting menus range from 9 to 15 courses, allowing you to try all of the most popular items on the menu. This restaurant offers an extensive wine list, along with great recommendations on which wines pair the best with certain foods.

Note that L’Atelier requires reservations. It’s one of the best fine dining experiences in Las Vegas, so it is highly unlikely that you will end your meal disappointed.

Dirt Dog

Dirt Dog has a unique selection of hot dogs and fries, ranging from bacon-wrapped hot dogs to versions smothered with french fries. There are five different locations in Las Vegas, and some of them are street stands on the Strip.

Dirt Dog takes inspiration from Los Angeles culture, featuring cool art and fun music. Some of my favorite menu items include the Patty Melt Dog, Elote Fries, and the Deep Fried Oreos. When I’m craving street food, Dirt Dog is at the top of my list of Las Vegas restaurants.

Tacos El Gordo

Tacos El Gordo serves Tijuana-style tacos with freshly-made tortillas, guacamole, and salsas. It’s a very casual, affordable eatery that always tastes delicious and fresh. They stay open until 4 a.m. most nights, making them one of the best Las Vegas restaurants to visit for a late-night snack.

There are multiple locations in several Las Vegas neighborhoods, so you should be able to find one close to where you’re staying. The carne asada fries, al pastor tacos, and sopes are some of the most popular menu items.

Nittaya’s Little Kitchen

Tucked away in the corner of a plaza, Nittaya’s Little Kitchen is a hidden gem. This neighborhood restaurant is tiny but also has a very cozy, fancy ambiance with dim lights and beautiful table decorations. The service is always great, and the food always tastes as good as the first time I had it.

Filled with potatoes and curry sauce, their golden pouches are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Other favorite dishes include massaman chicken curry, drunken noodles, and pad Z-U noodles.Overall, Nittaya’s Little Kitchen is a personal favorite and one of the best local restaurants in Las Vegas.

Bardot Brasserie

Celebrity chef Michael Mina opened this French restaurant to transport you to a Parisian cafe. Bardot Brasserie offers a divine dinner menu, as well as weekend brunch.

Try their best brunch items like the fresh pastry basket, famous french toast, and the croque madame topped with ham and brie. When dining in for dinner, the beef wellington, short rib, and mac and cheese are exquisite.

End your meal with a chocolate macaron with an airy hazelnut mousse in the middle and topped with fresh hot fudge. It’s like nothing you’ve ever had before.

The Ultimate Tasting Menu includes a variety of their most popular foods like cotton candy foie gras and Japanese wagyu beef. The tasting menu is around $275 a person, but you can also choose your own items if preferred. Though quite expensive, to eat at one of the best Las Vegas restaurants is so worth the price.

Holstein’s

Inside The Cosmopolitan, one of the best places to stay in Las Vegas, you’ll find Holstein’s, home to the city’s tastiest burgers. Aside from the great burger selection, they offer glamorous boozy milkshakes like the Donutella Milkshake. You can also make these milkshakes virgin and even then, they’re just as delicious.

Instead of bread, they start the meal off by giving you warm and delicious popcorn. The firecracker meatballs and the Billionaire Burger made with foie gras are just a few of their unique menu items.

The atmosphere is vibrant and fun with cool art on the walls. If you’re looking for a dining experience like no other, head to Holstein’s, one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas.

When you first walk into Beauty & Essex at The Cosmopolitan, you may think you are entering a pawn shop, but that’s just part of the allure. Before dining, take a pause — if anything in the pawn shop catches your eye, note that all items are available for purchase!

Once you enter this speakeasy-like restaurant, a secret door is opened to the actual eatery. With hung chandeliers, dim lighting, and great music, this restaurant makes for the perfect place to eat on a night out.

Most Beauty & Essex dishes are smaller, sharable portions. The grilled cheese, smoked bacon, and tomato soup dumplings are a fan favorite, as well as the 10 oz. steak with mac and cheese. The Chandelier Bar in The Cosmopolitan, one of the best Las Vegas bars, is a great place to get drinks after your meal!

Take it Easy Roasters

Set in Chinatown, Take it Easy is a Colombian bakery and local hidden gem. If you have never tried Colombian pastries before, you are in for a treat. The shop itself is very tiny with a small bar area to sit at, but they have an adorable outdoor area which makes for a picture-perfect Las Vegas date idea.

Some of my favorite menu items are the chicken tinga empanadas, guava and cheese empanadas, and pandebono, a Colombian cheesy bread. They also have a variety of vegan options and a unique drink selection.

Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar

Pier 88 is one of the most delicious seafood boil eateries that I have tried, and they have multiple Las Vegas restaurants. They offer a huge seafood selection and allow you to pick the types of butter and seasonings you prefer.

To get the biggest plate for the best deal, opt for their variety of food combos. I like to order the boiling half a pound with my selection of seafood (usually crab), which also comes with potatoes and corn.

CaliBombs & Burgers

CaliBombs is a fast food-style restaurant, although the quality is on par with a sit-down eatery. The place itself looks like something you might see in an old movie, with outdoor seating only.

They are famous for their onion bombs, which are whole deep-fried onions smothered with melted cheese and your choice of toppings. You’ll want to try their tasty burgers, too, which also feature a unique selection of condiments. If you are in a rush but want to try something new, I highly suggest CaliBombs.

Delilah

Delilah is an American fine dining experience inside Wynn Las Vegas. Taking inspiration from old Las Vegas showrooms, this restaurant will transport you to the 1950s. There is often live music with jazz filling the elegant dining room.

Wagyu beef Wellington and chicken tenders are some of the most popular dishes, always made from scratch. The dress code is stylish; shorts, athletic wear, and open-toe shoes are not allowed.

👉 Pro Tip: Children under the age of 12 are not permitted. After 7 p.m. you must be at least 21 years old to dine in.

Aracely’s Sazón Colombian Restaurant

Growing up, my grandma always made the best Colombian food and I could never find any restaurants that could compare. But the dishes at Aracely’s taste just like her cooking, authentic and fresh. Colombian food may not be a super popular cuisine, but the sweet and savory flavors will entice you.

While they serve many popular Colombian entrées, I typically go for their beef empanadas, arepas, and mango milkshakes. Aracely’s is one of the most delicious and affordable Las Vegas restaurants, and once you try it, you are bound to fall in love.

Carbone

Carbone is a restaurant inside the ARIA Resort & Casino, and once you enter, you will have found one of the city’s most fancy, authentic Italian spots. The original restaurant location was in New York City, and then the owners decided to open one in Las Vegas.

The ambiance is reminiscent of an old movie, with beautiful chandeliers and private, red velvet booths. Aside from the unique decor, the food is savory and amazing. The spicy rigatoni, veal parmesan, and lobster fra diavolo are some of the guests’ favorites.

👉 Pro Tip: Only children above the age of 6 are welcome in the restaurant.

BLACKOUT Dining in the Dark

The Japanese fried chicken is a must-try item. The ceviche, spicy tuna tartare, and togarashi waffle fries are other highly recommended options. The restaurant is simple and comfortable with fun music and wonderful service. Be sure to make reservations in advance.

Restaurant Guy Savoy

The Colors of Caviar, Octopus Terrine, and the artichoke and black truffle soup are some of the most popular menu items. The service is amazing, with wait staff ensuring that you have the best experience possible.

The entrance looks like a bar and store, and when you are ready to eat, you head to the back for a VIP Las Vegas dining experience.

With a live DJ that keeps the party going, Best Friend is one of the most fun and exciting restaurants in Las Vegas. The eatery is famous for its kimchi fried rice, tacos, street corn, and delicious alcoholic slushies.

Wing Lei

Wing Lei’s most famous menu item is the Imperial Peking Duck; every one that tries this dish raves about it. To taste several of their items, order many different dishes and share them with your group. Everything is sure to be delicious.

Barry’s Downtown Prime

Barry’s Downtown Prime is a glamorous new steak house inside Circa Resort & Casino. Note that Circa is an adults-only hotel, and therefore, Barry’s is an adults-only restaurant.

The restaurant took inspiration from old Vegas steakhouses from the 1950s. The dining room surrounds an olive tree and features beautiful gold ceilings and cozy velvet booths for a very classy atmosphere.

Barry’s features menu items like filet mignon, lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese, and to finish the meal, chocolate lava cake. The experience is intimate and the servers are very attentive with great recommendations if needed.

Cleaver

A hidden gem just off the Strip, Cleaver is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. They offer an all-night happy hour which includes discounts on multiple menu items and drinks, making meals more affordable.

My favorite item on the menu is the juicy New York Strip steak, topped with a blue cheese crust. They also have some of the best sides I have ever had, including pork belly mac and cheese, creamy garlic mash, and tasty Brussels sprouts.

Cleaver also has a co*cktail menu with handcrafted drinks from each era, dating back to the Gothic Age!
